Why work for an Agency?
Working for the State has very few advantages over an Agency. In Oregon, the pro-union approach has lowered pay scales in exchange for concessions in time off and benefits. Agencies pay six dollars or more per hour more and offer a full suite of benefits including sick leave, health care, dental, 401k, annual bonuses, and company paid life insurance.
Will I get regular pay?
Yes! PPFI pays twice per month on a regular schedule. Your pay stubs, pay history, etc. are available through convenient app and help is only a phone call away.
Will I get training?
Training is provided on a wide variety of subjects. Core competency training is followed by group training via live video conference one or twice per month.
